Work was done to a really high standard, they arrived when they said they would, and very comprehensive quote so we knew exactly what would be done. I’d asked Martin to check a strange looking damp patch in one of my rentals that I couldn’t fathom. He was able to recognise it as a cold spot in the cavity wall insulation. Since then I’ve had him back to skim plaster a bathroom wall and to repair a ceiling that had been damaged by a roof leak. (He even patched the paper on the ceiling to match in with the rest.) Martin has done it again, he never lets me down. My kitchen floor has always been uneven and now it isn’t. He takes the time to make sure everything, at every stage, is finished and secure. Once again Martin has surpassed himself.  This time he was replacing tiles in my kitchen. He came back after the joiner had finished, and removed the old tiles, plastered the wall, tiled the part between the work surface and the wall cupboards and painted the recently plastered wall which wasn’t tiled.  The finish is excellent, and all my friends have commented on the result, even noticing the seal between the work surface and the tiles, which is an exact match.  I highly recommend Martin and will certainly use him again, thank you Martin.

The shop which we bought the tiles from got our order wrong initially which meant we had to push Martin back, but he was very understanding and rearranged his diary around that.   He was in and out over a couple of days, left no mess, cleaned everything and kept us up to date with the progress of the job as he went along.   Have to say, extremely impressed with his service and work.  Would definitely recommend him to anyone thinking about getting some tiling done.

I was introduced/recommended to Martin a couple of years ago to tile my bathroom. Not only did he tile it but I got me a plasterer – well that way I knew the walls would be good for the tiles. So glad as he done a first class job.
Recently I needed my kitchen repaired after a water leak and I knew who I wanted to do it.
Again Martin done a fantastic job plastering the ceiling and walls ready to paint. While painting I realised what a gift Martin has as the walls to ceiling were straight and so east to paint a straight line.
This is where it pays off. If I had got someone else I do not think my painting would have been any good.
As far as I am concerned Martin has a gift and talent that stands him well. He is a business professional who carry’s out the jobs accurately, efficiently and at a very good rate.
DO NOT go anywhere else – I won’t be!

Amazing job converting a downstairs toilet to a wet room and replacing a 35-year old bathroom. His attention to detail was second to none and he is full of creative ideas and suggestions. We recently had an extension done and got Rubix out to do our bathroom.
It was a complicated job with tile arrangement (herringbone) that most timers would have refused to do.
I was worried Martin would be the same, however, nothing was too much trouble.
He took the time to go through the options available to us, putting our minds at ease.
He has a fantastic attention to detail and the job was completed in time and without any hitches whatsoever.  We genuinely couldn’t be happier with the job he done, and more so, my wife’s ecstatic with how it has turned out.

Martin tilled around my bathroom sink and wall using glass mosaic tiles.  He suggested removing the sink and tiling behind to give a better finish.  The end result was perfect.  Martin came when he said he would and completed the job on time too.  No mess, no hassle. We came across Martins business on a local flyer and haven’t looked back since!  We had Martin in to tile our kitchen a few years back and he done such a great job we got him back last month to tile our kitchen floor and hall!
We have a 2 year old child so has you can imagine sitting in the house while having our floor tiled with a toddler just wasn’t an option…. I felt more than comfortable leaving my house keys with Martin for him to crack on with the job in hand. Martin was very respectful and always left the place clean and tidy after he had finished! Hope to get him back soon to start work on our upstairs bathroom!

Martin at Rubix was recommended to us several years ago when we needed a tiler for kitchen renovation.  He did a great job then at a great price and this has been the case on the other occasions he has done jobs for us.     The most recent was on Friday 5 May 2017 when he re-did the shower sealant and left the bathroom looking like new.  Asked to do job on the Wednesday and he did it on Friday afternoon.  Great service and wouldn’t go anywhere else for tiling services.

Once more I have used Rubix to rebuild an entire bathroom, laminate the full flat, reconstruct storage space, plaster ceiling and other sections of the flat and take on additional plumbing and electrical work. The standard in all of this was excellent. The newly refurbished flat was then re-let within 7 days of going on the rental market for a higher fee. Excellent work and would highly recommend Martin and the firm.

Highly recommended, excellent job done! I have used Martin for several jobs, but the one he recebtly completed was the biggest. He’s restored the crumbling hall walls to a smooth finish by taking some parts back to the brick, filling in & plastering – all resulting in a perfectly skimmed smooth surface to be worked on. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Martin again as he is skilled, knowledgeable, reliable, quotes competitive prices and is a very tidy perfectionist.

We had a new shower cubicle fitted. Additionally we had extra work carried out on kitchen taps and repair work to the bathroom walls and ceiling. In the past we have had our kitchen and bathroom fully tiled. These guys do fantastic work extremely helpful with suggestions and options. They do lots of wee extra bits if they see the need. We would fully recommend this firm for any similar work.

Rubix Tiling – Martin McMonagle. Have used Martin for all tiling needs for some years but have only just been made aware of this site. He initially did the tiling in my kitchen when it was being renovated and did a marvellous job even though we chose stone tiles which were extremely awkward to cut!!! Photo of my kitchen is on his Rubix Tiling website. Has since done repairs to tiling/grouting/sealant mainly in toilet and always does an excellent job at a reasonable price as well as being very friendly and easy to work with. Recently plumber had to remove some tiling in kitchen to access a water leak in waste pipe. Martin refitted the tiles and you would never know that they had ever been removed. Excellent tradesman.

I was put in touch with Martin – Rubix Bathrooms through another ‘trusty tradesman’ He came round at short notice and went out of his way to remedy a problem which had occurred with my bathroom ceiling. He did not simply put up a bit of plasterboard and leave…He found the root of the problem and set about making it good. Unbelievable! A genuine ‘Trusty tradesman’
