I used Mini Mac Plant to prep 100sq meters for paving. 100mm dug out and type 1 laid and compacted. Claire was excellent to deal with prior and during the job. I would recommend Mini Mac Plant for this type of work.

Claire worked on our garden in May 2023. We had a lot of problems with water and lack of drainage, and Claire came across as knowledgeable and confident, and worked extremely hard to install drainage throughout the whole garden. Claire is very approachable and seems like a genuinely nice person. However, I found Claire to be unreliable in communication: lack of response, not coming at the agreed time or coming at other times without prior notice.

Following years of issues with flooding in our back garden we contacted Claire from Mini Mac Plant Hire after reading a previous review from someone who seemed to have had a similar issue. Claire who is lovely came to see us and gave an indication of what would be required, the quote seemed a fair price, so we decided to go ahead.  In the end the job was much more problematic than Claire had first thought, however Claire and John carried on and got the job done. A huge thank you to Claire as the new drainage is working exactly as we hoped and we can once again enjoy our garden with no worry over flooding. I would definitely recommend Mini Mac Plant Hire.

Claire did a great job recently for me & sorted out a drainage problem in my garden which was causing water to run into my garage. We thought it was going to be a short, straightforward job but it turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected. Also, the weather didn’t help! Despite all this Claire carried on & got the job done. I was very impressed with Claire’s attitude to sorting out the problem & commitment to having a good outcome. We had a severe problem with a sewer drain leaking into the street at our house in Corstorphine.    Contacted Scottish gas and was put in touch with Dynarod,who said the trouble was a sump under a ’60 Ash tree in the front garden. Contacted Edinburgh council, Scottish water, Dynarod ect. but with no help from any of them.    Contacted Claire McCall of Mini Mac Plant hire. to see if she could help. After the tree was cut down, it took her 4 days to dig out this massive stump, take a wall down, and repair the sewer, fitting a new pipe and chamber as the roots had smashed a 6″clay pipe and trap.  She worked relentlessly for over 8 hours per day, and persevered where lesser people would have given up, till the job was completed, filling a massive hole,and repairing the drive and wall.    I can’t praise her enough for her endeavours and quality of work. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing any work whatsoever.
