The Linden Tree Dental Lounge
Linden Tree Dental Lounge
What we do
Dentist Stephi Kerk, along with husband Peter and her team at The Linden Tree Dental Lounge in Dunfermline, believes in a long term dental health vision which stops unnecessary treatments and continual trips to the dentist.
What’s really different about this Dental Lounge is the relaxed atmosphere and ambience. With opening hours are tailored to meet working peoples needs and the clinic is open to 8pm on both Mondays and Wednesdays. Stephi has a unique knack of calming and re-assuring even the most terrified patients and she will spend time with them to allay their fears and build their confidence.
In fact, Stephi told me that just a few weeks ago a patient, who had initially been terrified of dentists had, on his third visit, actually fallen asleep in the treatment chair. Testimony if any is needed!!
Background – Stephi began working in a dentistry setting at an early age, helping in her parents’ practice in Eastern Germany from the age of 13.
Qualifications – Stephi qualified at Zahnarzt Heidelberg in 2003 and is properly registered with the General Dental Council.
Treatments – The Linden Tree Dental Lounge offers a full range of general dentistry options (including common procedures like fillings and bridges). And they also offer cosmetic dental services, from cleaning and tooth whitening to full mouth restoration. Stephi’s European dentistry experience allows her to employ a number of unique techniques (including implant alternatives) seldom available in Scotland at affordable prices.
Prices – Best of all though is the value for money which Stephi offers. As private dentists go, The Linden Tree Dental Lounge is very competitively priced and also offers flexible payment options. Children and young people in education can obtain NHS treatment here too with the option to upgrade on any treatment should they choose to. As physical appearances (rightly or wrongly) become more and more important in life (and in business), the condition of our teeth can tell observers a lot about us. So how nice to have a place to go for excellent treatment at affordable prices.

I met Stephi last year at an event and have gradually got to know her since. She struck me as being very pleasant and approachable, and it was clear she was extremely knowledgeable in the dentistry profession. Importantly I liked her honesty and her approach to clients.
As a result I opted to join her practice in Dunfermline earlier this year as I wanted some cosmetic work done (visible black fillings changed to white and teeth-whitening process).
Since then I’ve had a full check up which involved x-rays to examine the condition of my teeth. Stephi also photographed the teeth individually and then showed me on screen the fillings that were cracked/damaged and needed replacing first. Everything was explained and evidenced so I knew exactly what was going to happen.
We agreed a timescale for the work being done and I was given clear details of the work to be done at each appointment and the associated costs.
I’ve already had two treatments with fillings being replaced and a broken tooth crowned. I can’t fault the service from Stephi and her staff in any way at all. And the treatment was as painless as I’d hoped it would be.
As far as costs are concerned I feel that for a private practice the costs were very reasonable and definitely worth paying for the excellent service I received.
I have no hesitation in recommending The Linden Tree Dental Lounge to anyone – especially anyone who is nervous about going to a dentist.

The Linden Tree is undoubtedly one of the best Dental Centers in Scotland. The owner Stephanie is an exceptional dentist who listens to her patient needs and then works out a treatment plan to suit your smile requirements and your budget. I have been going to Stephanie for just over 2 years and during that time I have had extensive treatment which involved Gum surgery, Dental Crowns being fitted to my teeth and now an ongoing 6 monthly check up plan with both herself and the Hygienist.
The Linden Tree is well located in a new modern building on the outskirts of Dunfermline, close to the motorway and has plenty of parking spaces which is really convenient. In addition, the premises has all the latest state of the art Dental Technology, a welcoming environment, and friendly approachable staff. If you live in Central Scotland and are looking for an excellent dentist who cares for each and every one her patients you won’t find any better.

I chose Stephanie Kerks’ practice as my dentist had retired and this was a new practice much closer to home.
I have been using the practice since it opened in June. I first went for a check up and found the practice to be a very modern and not as I was expecting, it has a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I have since had 2 implants placed and was very relaxed while having these done as Stephanie and her nurse worked very well together like a well oiled machine, the aftercare was second to none as I was phoned the day after to see if there was any issues, the staff made me feel like I was their only patient.
I would highly recommend the practice as the standard of care from Stephanie and her team was very high and the surroundings are very welcoming and have a relaxed atmosphere.
